EHI as a professional distributor of material handling systems
integrations that fully supports our customer’s needs and goals.
Develops new customers while maintaining existing EHI customers
in the Raleigh -Durham area. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: - Responsible for sales of new/used material handling systems. - Represent and sell EHI, its products and services to key industrial/business account customers - Develop customer preference for EHI products and services in a manner consistent with the EHI mission statement. - Identify and secure new business accounts through networking, relationships with business individuals, and cold calling, and then follows all potential sales leads. - Maintain contact with existing customers to gain market awareness and increase EHI’s percentage of business. - Prepare all necessary paperwork in an accurate and timely manner, including bid quotes, price reports, expense reports, worksheets and sales orders. - Conduct EHI engineering/application studies, develop specifications/bids, prepare and present written and/or oral bids to customers, and perform project management follow-up as part of the sales process. - Maintain contact with lift truck dealerships and consultants to promote our products. - Promote good customer relations through efficient handling of problems and expeditiously responds to customers needs. - Attend sales and product training sessions. - Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies related to our product mix and with current methods and philosophies of material handling. - Assist management in preparation of sales projections. - Participate in trade shows and special customer meetings. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: Preferably 4-year degree A proven track record of successful selling to manufacturers, warehouse facilities and distribution centers is desirable. A good knowledge of pallet racking, shelving, conveyors, forklifts, mezzanines and pre-engineered in-plant offices is also preferred. - Must have intermediate P.C. skills, preferably with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. CAD capability is preferred. - Have a firm understanding of customer motivation. - Have an understanding of the sales cycle and bidding process. - Utilizes time management skills - Live in the Greenville-Spartanburg or Raleigh-Durham area depending upon which territory you are applying for a job.
